On Saturday, August 1st, Backbone is launching its first all purpose cleaner. It's called Sunday Clean, it smells like Fresh Lemon, and we think it's going to change how you feel about cleaning your house.

Why We Made It
Backbone has always been about intentional fragrance. The wax melt warming in the living room. The candle on the kitchen counter. The hand soap by the sink. Scent that follows you through your home because you put it there on purpose.
But then you grab the all purpose cleaner from under the sink and suddenly your kitchen smells like a hospital hallway.
That never made sense to us.
Sunday Clean is what happens when a fragrance brand makes a cleaner. Same Fresh Lemon scent you already know from our melts and room spray. Same intention behind every ingredient. Just doing a different job around your home.
What It Is
Sunday Clean is a plant-based all purpose cleaner built on a sugarcane alcohol and plant-derived surfactant system. No harsh synthetic chemicals. No SLS. No parabens. No phthalates.
It's formulated to cut through everyday dirt and grime and leave surfaces clean, streak-free, and residue-free. It works on countertops, glass, mirrors, stainless steel, granite, sealed wood floors, tile, stone, luxury vinyl plank, and polished concrete.
Ready to use straight from the bottle. Shake before use, spray onto the surface, wipe clean. For stubborn residue, let it sit a few seconds before wiping. That's it.
What It Smells Like
Zesty lemon up front, bright citrus and bergamot through the middle, white musk as the base to keep it grounded and clean.
It doesn't smell like artificial lemon. It doesn't smell like lemon-scented cleaning product. It smells like the candle on your counter — because it comes from the same place.
