That's not a bad thing. Lemon Drift is built for the sinks that actually get used — the kitchen, the bathroom off the mudroom, the one by the back door. The spots where your hands are working and a good scent is a small, real reward.
It opens crisp. Bright lemon and a cool thread of mint that hits clean without being sharp. Give it a moment and the mint steps back, letting white flowers soften the whole thing. The base is ambrette and musk — warm, quiet, grounding. Not perfume-y. Just the kind of finish that lingers exactly long enough before it's gone.
Fresh. Straightforward. The kind of scent that makes you actually like washing your hands.
We were just as intentional about what's in the formula as what's in the fragrance. Aloe vera soothes and moisturizes while you wash. Vitamin E nourishes without leaving anything behind. The formula is pH balanced so it stays gentle on skin, sulfate-free so it won't strip your natural oils, and completely paraben-free. No harsh preservatives. Nothing you don't need. Cruelty-free, 100% vegan, Prop 65 compliant, and phthalate-free across the board.

This is also something new for us. The Backbone Craft Co Foaming Hand Soap line is our first step into personal care, and Lemon Drift is one of five soaps launching June 1. We built it the same way we build our candles and melts — starting with fragrance, being honest about ingredients, and not overcomplicating what doesn't need to be complicated.
